Nelson Mandela certainly tops the list as well as the devastation wreaked by Typhoon Haiyan

Miley Cyrus twerks at the MTV Music Awards. It's so funny that everyone is still making fun of it now. Was impressed that there were so many people who dressed up as her Miley Cyrus during the last Halloween.

Eric Snowden and the NSA Spying Scandal...BUT the most interesting thing about it to me was that people were actually surprised that the government listens to phone calls and checks phone records.

I would definitely have to say The bombing of the Boston Marathon! It was so horrible! It was the only incident or story that captured my heart and made me feel the pain that these people were feeling. I know that I have luckily never experienced anything even close to that but my heart still hurt and went out to them.

The healthcare website and the shutdown kind of go hand in hand. They both show how the govt is not for the people but for the chosen few in Washington. Never mind that tey make decisions for us but they don't have to be part of the shutdown or be affected by the healthcare fiasco.

Strangely, the government shutdown and I hate politics. Amanda Berry and girls is in my hometown and as much as I have to say that I am thankful they escaped, it was extremely blown up here in Cleveland to the point where it was annoying if I heard anymore.
