We were driving around talking and I told my husband that someone was acting squirrelly and my then six-year-old said, "I don't think they act or look like a squirrel".

There was this little boy I used to watch and we had him so often, we were like his second parents. Most mornings, even if it wasn't - he's say - "Sunshiny Day Mommy" It was the cutest thing and one I loved. Makes me sad though when my husband says its now since we no longer have contact with him.

We were on vacation in downtown Chicago, we had just finished eating a deep-dish pizza and left the restaurant walking towards the "L" to get back to our hotel (30 minutes via the L & train). Our 3-yr old son told us he had to go to the bathroom - which meant we had to find a restroom NOW! Turns out he had to go #2... as he and my husband started running towards the train terminal to get to a bathroom, we could hear my son yelling "IT'S COMING OUT!!!!!!!". Our older boys and myself laughed so hard and to this day we chuckle about "it's coming out!".

My little cousin calls me "T" and one day he got a little flustered after asking "T going too? T tooooo? T toooo?" It was so cute!

One time not too long ago my daughter noticed I was quite upset with her. Instead of crying she said, "It's ok mommy, I still love you." and hugged me. Talk about a reverse of the situation, from that point on there was no way I could be upset.

While shopping at the mall with my son we stopped to grab lunch at the food court. He insisted on trying Chinese food so I bought him a small platter that came with two fortune cookies. After finishing his lunch he carefully opened the packaging around the fortune cookie. I watched as he attempted to bite the cookie whole as it crumbled in his hand. He then sat there staring intently at the broken cookie. Slowly, he slide the second cookie across the table to me and said "You can have that one, I don't like them because they have paper in them!"

we asked kids at church to bring a dish to share at our potluck and one little boy said, can I bring my favorite plate! I had no idea they wouldn't know that a "dish" meant food!

My son doesn't really talk yet, but he loves to sing. His rendition of "Happy Birthday" is very funny!
