Accessorizing has been tough to do since I had my twins. I have to force myself to dip into the jewelry box and that's totally not me! I've been making more of an effort to wear earrings and other accessories daily, even when I'm not leaving the house. They make any outfit complete and turn an old shirt into something new.

I love pins, especially vintage ones! It seems that they are not as popular as they once were and when I wear a nice, unique vintage pin I feel like I am doing something a little different. It suits my personality and I have gotten lots of compliments on some of my pins.

people always underestimate the presence of earrings. faux pearl studs are so inexpensive and they make such an enormous impact. if you have short hair they make your face glow and if you have long hair, just tuck the front around your ears to show off those gorgeous earrings. these days it's so rare that i see women wear earrings! put those earrings on girls and mix and match with your outfit!

I love all accessories, though I don't have many. My favorite is a bracelet my Grandma gave to me. It is so beautiful and I get so many compliments on it. I always wear it for holidays and special occasions. Its like nothing I have ever seen.

And I love, love, love pashmina scarves. I have a couple of them that I use a LOT. I want to get a few more this winter. And of course, soft fuzzy scarves and gloves when it is cold out.

I use moissanite instead diamonds in my nicer jewelry and I get lots of compliments as they are a very good sub for diamonds, and do not contribute to the violence in Africa.

You can put on an outfit look at yourself in the mirror and say it's ok and just go. But for some reason on those days when "it's ok" isn't good enough I like experimenting with a few big braclets or a chunky necklace to make it look more polished. Heck there is nothing like a great pair of jeans, with a blouse and cardigan along with a string of pearls and ballet flats emblished with some sort of bling. Grab that purse you usually use with a business attire and head out the door.
