Polau (Indian Rice Dish)

Makes: 4 Plates

Description: A delicacy from the kitchen of Indian Maharajas. Its going to give you a full taste of aroma!

Ingredients:
1 cup  Long grain Rice
3-4 tbsp  OIl
1-2 tsp  Salt
2-3 tsp  Sugar
1 handful  Peas
1 handful  Raisins and Cashew
1/2 tsp  Rose water
1/2 tsp  Nutmeg powder
1/2 tsp  Cumin seed
1 tsp  Clarified butter
1/2 tsp  Kewra water
1/2 tsp  Javitri powder

Instructions: Boil the rice and keep aside
In a pan heat oil and pour the clarified butter
Add the cumin seed
Add the peas, cashew, raisins, and saute it a little for about 2 minutes
Pour the rice and mix well
Add the sugar and salt and mix
Just before taking it off the stove, mix the nutmeg and javitri powder and add it in
Pore the rose water and kewra water (can find in any Indian store) and mix everything well

The glamorous dish is ready to serve with any meat dish for lunch/dinner
