Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie

Makes: 1 Pie

Description: Creamy peanut butter and chocolate goodness!

Ingredients:
1 pk  Cream cheese softened
1 jar  Peanut butter melted
1 pk  Oreos
1 stick  Butter melted
1 bag  Semi sweet chocolate morsels
1 cup  Heavy cream
1 tub  Cool whip

Instructions: To make the crust:
Blitz up a package of Oreos in your food processor (you can smash with a rolling pin if you'd like)

Add melted butter or margarine to the cookie crumbs and press firmly into a standard pie tin (try to resist eating any)
Bake in an oven set to 375* F for 7 minutes & cool completely

Peanut butter filling:
In a microwave safe bowl melt a regular sized jar of your favorite Peanut butter
Add to that one softened package of cream cheese
And with a hand mixer mix until combined (switching to a larger bowl or stand mixer if desired)
Fold in one whole package of cool whip until filling is light and fluffy
Place in the fridge to set

Ganache topping:
In a bowl add a package of semi sweet chocolate morsels
Using the microwave, heat up one cup of heavy cream for 1 minute and additional 30 second increments until bubbling occurs (I use a microwave safe mug)
Pour the cream over the chocolate and stir to combine

Pour ganache over the pie and let set.

You can decorate this pie any way you like, some suggestions are chopped or mini Reese's cups , peanuts, chocolate shavings, whipped cream, and any combination of them all.

(You may have filling left over but not enough for an entire pie try freezing it as pops or giving the bowl to the kids! Yummy!) ;)
