I am a huge matte finish fan. These eyeshadow singles are super pretty & very pigmented.

Matte shades are harder to formulate. It's a delicate balance to find just the right combination of pigmentation without being chalky. While these are good for drugstore matte shadows, I find that the formulation of Wet N Wild mattes to be more pigmented without being as chalky as these. I will continue to use the shades that I have but I would not repurchase these again.

I absolutely love these eye shadows. I own four as of right now and can't get enough of them! These shadows are not very expensive, I believe the most I have seen them is $5 from the dependable NYX brand. I also own high end eye shadows including MAC, Smashbox, Urban Decay, and Stila and these are definitely comparable to those. They glide on so smoothly and are very pigmented. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is the lighter shades do take a little more to build up than the darker ones but are still much better than a lot of eye shadows I have tried!
