Macaroni and Cheese Casserole

Makes: 10 servings

Description: This casserole recipe was given to me by my sister-inlaw (who has now passed away) and has become one of my family's favorites. It is a delicious addition to any meal. We never have any leftovers, as my family devours the whole thing in one sitting. This casserole is an excellent comfort food to eat when the weather is chilly!

Ingredients:
1  8 ounce box of uncooked macaroni pasta
1  can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 cup  mayonaise
1  large jar pimento
1  small onion chopped
12 oz.  shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1  medium can sliced mushrooms
2-4  cups crushed Ritz crackers
3 tablespoons  butter

Instructions: Cook and drain Macaroni
In a large bowl, combine all other ingredients
Add macaroni to mixture
Pour into a rectangular 3 quart casserole dish
Cover with crushed Ritz crackers
Dot top with butter
Cook 35-40 minutes at 325 degrees
Enjoy!
