Nice toy, my pup does not eat all the treats from inside as some tend to get stuck so we do find ourselves cleaning it often.
nice Great! Really helps my dog get out his energy and promotes brain development.
Great find for our pit bull We have a pretty large 8 year old pit bull who can get a new toy that?s supposed to be indestructible and not even an hour later have it destroyed. I?m happy to say with this he was able to tear it apart, but it took him a while and each one we buy lasts him about 4/5 months which is amazing for us.
Hard to clean The pets love chewing on this, but they would much rather have their treats in other forms. It's a great concept, but it is terrible to clean.
Horrible to Clean, but Dogs Love Them My dogs have always been kong obsessed. It's such a great way to keep them occupied and do some enrichment. BUT they are a real pain the butt to clean; you don't want to leave peanut butter sitting in there, so you're really going to have to dig in. What makes it a challenge for dogs, makes it a challenge for you, too.
I have purchased quite a few of Kongs and if you don't put a treat like peanut butter in it, it has limited staying power. Plus, they?re messy and not really for the house.
great durable toy I got my pit-bulls one of these in black. It was at Petco for a good price, it defiantly is worth every penny. It stands up to chewing and being thrown around all day. I would buy it again but I don't need to because it's like new.
Kong Dog Toy My sweet Shiba Inu loves his Kong. He plays for a long time with it. He likes to throw it and likes to set bounce like a ball. He makes little noises when playing with it. I need to buy him a bigger one now. Odin is almost 9 months old.
Good for a few hours... I love the kong toys for a few hours, but as soon as my dog is able to chew one little piece off, he's able to tear the whole thing apart in under 20 minutes. These either need to cost less or last longer.
Overly tough chewers My dogs love the kong toys, they love them filled with peanut butter and other treats. My only issue is they were still able to chew it to pieces.
Not a sturdy as you think. My tiny dog chews these thing up in days. We tried different sizes thinking they would last longer but it's not so much what is inside as the outside for chewing.
Indestructible Entertainment I have had the same one from when my dog was 6 months. He is about to be 2. That Kong goes with him everywhere. I love that I can wash it easily for all of the different games we use with it. My pup would get bored of it once in a while and that is completely fine, mental and physical stimulation is a very broad task. Also with his Kong, unlike other chewing toys, it is gentle on his teeth.
Kong dog toy review Not for every dog I have a pitbull shar pai mix and she wasn't very fond of it.I filled it with peanut butter the first time she licked up a little bit that was on the outside of the kong toy and didn't bother with chewing it to get it out.Second time i mixed her food with some peanut butter and some dry dog food and same effect had no interest in chewing or licking it to get it out.

Kong dog toy My 3 large breed dogs love the kong toy. It can keep them entertained for hours. Especially if I put peanut butter or pure pumpkin in it. It's very easy to clean as long as you use hot water. An my dogs never seem to get bored with the kong.
