Tiffany Yu
Tiffany Yu is on a mission to change the conversation about disabilities, and she's succeeding. We talk with Tiffany about how she learned to own her disability, which came about when she was 9 and was in a car accident that also claimed the life of her father. Tiffany shares how an experience during an internship helped her see that she wasn't working at her potential and led her to stop 'sitting on the sidelines of life.' She went on to found Diversability, a community-driven organization seeking to rebrand the concept of disability and to facilitate conversations between disabled and non-disabled people. Tiffany shares her hopes, plans, and perspective on disability representation and how she plans to continue to make changes for equality & inclusion.
