Denizen Jeans for Real Life

When you think of casual clothing you think of jeans. Something you can have fun in, get dirty in and relax in. Why, then, are so many denim products stiff, uncomfortable and just difficult to wear? From Levi's® comes a new level in comfortable, personal fit denim: dENiZEN™ Available exclusively at Target stores, dENiZEN™   means “inhabitant” – belonging to a community of family and friends. I was sent a pair of women's dENiZEN™ jeans for this review in the {Totally Shaping} at waist boot cut style. This style sits at the waist with a slimming tummy panel for maximum control between hip and waist. The jeans are made of a high stretch denim which allows for extra curves and motion when you're out having fun with your family. I found the denim to be very well made; not thin like some other stretch denim brands.

- The color was rich, dark and without unusual fading - even after several washes.

- They retain their shape throughout the day which is another feature I have found severely lacking in other stretch jeans.  

- The available mid-rise waist coupled with the slimming panel was very effective and didn't allow for any bulging.

- An added bonus is that the waist, for me at least, was gap free. I didn't have to worry about the back of my jeans gapping open when I sat down or bent over to pick up something for my two year old. No more panty flashing is a great thing for active moms!

The only issue I had with the jeans sent to me was that the legs are too long even for heels. The listings on Target (short, regular, long) tend to run longer than other brands - so make sure to consult the site sizing chart instead of going with the length you normally select.
