My favorite holiday breakfast/brunch is when my family and I get together on Christmas morning at my sister's house where we all engage in and cook eggs, English muffin with some ham, bacon or sausage and also home fries making it a delicious breakfast with a cup of coffee. Then we serve the plates and gather around the table together and eat and have a lot of laughs.

My favorite holiday disert comes from england called Eaton Mess - it was a favorite of my Mother in law before she passed away here is the easy way to make Eaton mess you can do it this way or make your own meringue cookies wich is much harder than just buying them premade 1 pound strawberries, hulled and quartered 3 tablespoons granulated sugar 1 cup heavy cream 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar 3 cups coarsely crumbled pink or white meringue cookies (about 4 ounces) Gently stir together strawberries and granulated sugar in a large bowl. Cover, and let stand at room temperature until juices are released, at least 30 minutes or overnight Coarsely crush berries using a potato masher. Whisk together cream and confectioners sugar in a large bowl until soft peaks form. Gently fold in cookies and berries (with juices) until almost combined but ribbons of juice remain. serve right away its very tasty

We always do a fish dinner on Christmas day. This one is SOOOO easy! INGREDIENTS: 1 12 oz can tuna (I used chunk light) 6oz whole wheat egg noodles (half of a bag) 6-7 oz cheddar cheese with dill 1/2 cup milk salt and pepper to taste DIRECTIONS: Cook noodles as directed. Drain. While noodles are cooking, melt cheese along with salt and pepper Add in milk slowly, stirring into cheese until it is a creamy consistency (it may be a bit lumpy, but should be thickish) Add in tuna to cheese, stir. Place cheese/tuna mixture into noodles and toss. Garnish with parmesan if you desire. ETA: I submitted this recipe to be reviewed for posting under SheSpeaks Recipes
