Delicious chocolatey caramel bars. A big hit every time!!
German Chocolate Cake Mix
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt caramels in a double boiler with 1/3 cup of evaporated milk.
Mix cake mix with nuts, butter, and 1/3 cup evaporated. Pat 1/2 the batter in a 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350°F for 6 minutes. Cover with 6 oz. of chocolate chips, caramel mixture & remaining half of the batter. Bake for 18 more minutes. Let cool thoroughly and cut.
