on Jun 25, 2010: Don't agree. I'm short. Maxi dresses make me look more round, as do Tshirt dresses. As I carry my weight in the middle, I haven't worn a belt in 30 years!! I found empire waist dresses tend to look better on shorter people with weight around the middle.
