on Nov 12, 2007: I read the first book before the negative publicity came out. Like someone stated above, it was a good read. Gave me some empathy for my dad who is a recovering alchoholic. Dr.s need to lay all of their concerns on the table and have the right 'plan B' in place with the patience understanding that if an emergancy were to come into play the Dr. can go to 'plan B'.
