Is Walking To School A Thing Of The Past?

on Sep 15, 2009: I don't have any kids, but when I was growing up in Long Island in the 1980's my Mother always let me walk to school as long as I walked with a buddy. There were many kids on my block that attended the same school so if we walked in a group she was okay with that. We also walked up to the shopping…
