This is a very shaky time for our great Country. I will withhold naming a street after him or calling him the next JFK until he actually accomplishes something. My gosh, everyone acts like this man is magical. Get real! He has never actually done a single thing EXCEPT talk about change.

Barack Obama is our light of hope in this rather dark world of our times. I really think he will do the world good. He seems to have the intelligence, courage and integrity to help us out of this mess.

I am still very worried about his past associations, his birth certificate, and the fact that he came out of nowhere from the Chicago political machine. I hope I am wrong

I didn't vote for him and his whole "change" message I think is not going to happen...maybe for the worse. I don't care if Republican or Democrat comes in they aren't going to be able to make a huge difference not with all the other influences. I pray that he does a good job but I see our country headed for more of a socialist country with all the programs that he is talking about and bailouts. What happened to take care of yourself? Why it is that people want government to help them out? Live within your means, buy houses you CAN afford, buy cars that you CAN afford (not $50,000 cars) and take care of your family. My husband and I don't buy it if we don't have cash for it. That's just the way it is and we have a nice new car we paid cash for, nice house, etc... putting on a roof on our house this summer with cash. SAVE, SAVE, SAVE!!
