I am grateful, but the total uncertanity is hard. Alot of promises have been made, its hard to believe in them. It appears that the those who can make a difference look out for themselves first.

I don't believe in God, but I do believe in the power of each and every one of us to educate ourselves on the issues and become better citizens of this country and of our world. One of the most positive effects of this election was unprecedented involvement among everyday Americans - let's keep it going!

I'm feeling more optimistic. I'm on a journey of self-discovery and finding what I'm made of. I'm taking more responsibility for myself and my actions, and that's empowering. I'm not waiting for the government to rescue me (but whatever help they wanna give, I'm game!). I have no control over certain things in this life, but the things I can take action on and participate in, then that's what I'll do! I actually feel less stressed lately. I'm learning to live within my means, and if I can't afford something that's not vital to my pulse n heartbeat, well, I just do without! I'm ok with the handbag that I got at the ten dollar store a few years back...it's still in good shape. 'Cause believe me, when I walk down the street, people aren't lookin' at my handbag! tee-hee! I'd like to believe that I'm a vibrant, passionate woman making intelligent decisions. When it's right within, it shows on the outside. It's a process, believe me, a struggle sometimes, but I can do it.

I feel a little stress but I know things will soon get better so that's what keeps me motivated.

I wake up every day thankful for the tings I have. I don't really focus on our changing times, I focus on how it is now and prepare for tomorrow. I find myself more humbling, caring and enlightening when I realize all I'm grateful for.

I hate this time of year it is depressing, the kids are in school and it's dark outside. Had to go to so many open houses for my son for high school. He had to take tests. I can't imagine what it will be like when he goes to college.
