I LOVE IT ALL. ON-LINE, IN STORE. I JUST LOVE TO SHOP. WHEN I'M TIRED, I GO ON-LINE. WHEN THERE'S A BARGAIN, I'M IN THE STORE. ALOT OF TIMES I HAVE TO GO ON-LINE TO HIDE FROM THE CHILDREN AND I HAVE GIFTS DELIVERED TO MY MOM'S ADDRESS.
Shopping in the stores gets me into the holiday spirit. I love the whole ambiance! Of course, I have a good idea of what I want to buy before shopping. I also like to see and get a feel of the quality of what I am purchasing.
I have found some pretty good deals online that's why I like shopping online. What I don't like is that when it comes ot clothing or shoes I can't try them on so I shop for those at the store every time.
I start shopping for holiday in the midst of the year. When I spot good deals and they are suitable for particular relative or friend, I buy it and keep it for holiday gift-giving later on. Sometimes, when it's close to holiday, a lot of sizes or colors or particular items are out of sale, I like to give the most suitable gift instead of picking anything available at the last minute. Also, I have some relatives and friends living in other states, I shop online and send the gift directly to them. It saves my time and extra cost on taking the gifts to the post office.
I enjoy shopping online!!! It's so much easier!
Every year I say I am doing holiday shopping on line as I get a bit crazy with the crowds, noise and general chaos that IS holiday shopping but I always break down and hit the stores, malls etc.! A big part of me really likes the music, decorations and yes, the craziness! It doesn't feel like Christmas to me without it! Last year I did order a few things on line because of better pricing, out of stock in stores and no retailer local. Not a problem at all but definitely not as soul satisfying!
I prefer online, I get more of a selection that what's available at our local regional stores. I find sometimes stores carry to target shopping crowd for that particular area. I find that I can order products online that may not be available in the stores in my area. Example, I work in a professional corporate setting but no stores in my area carry professional career wear for women. Usually shipping is free, especially during the holidays. On the flip side, I sometimes choose an item in the store and look for additional colors or product specials online. Especially clothing, shoes.
I just love Black Friday shopping. I see it as such a challenge and fun too. My husband and I wake up about 4 a.m. we follow our mapped out plan and finish by 7 or 8 with breakfast.
i LOVE holiday shopping with my hands on the merchandise, my friends in tow, the holiday music blaring, the cold arir blasting, the holiday smells swirling..... ahhhh. CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!
I like to shop at odd hours and at local, family owned shops. Also, the local thrift shops get my business at Christmas! The atmosphere and fun is what I like about live shopping ;p
