I think we as Americans forget that freedom isnt free, and that someone will have to pay for these programs.

I think it would work; how we would do that I am not sure. Maybe we could take a page out of the book from those countries who have made it work.

I lived in England, my husband lived in France and Switzerland. We have had to rely on this type of health care and see those we love rely on it. IT IS AWFUL! What ends up happening is that you have to pay a fortune to see a specialist anyway, and if you can't afford it you get to wait at a hospital for days before your doctor bothers to see you. Heaven help our country if this is what we choose.

As I feel that it is every persons inalienable right to have medical care, I don't feel it would be beneficial to have socialist programs to ensure thus care. In Canada, the medical program is free yet harder to obtain services as the medical facilities are swamped therefore leaving people on a 2 to 3 month wait.

More healthcare availability = higher demand for doctors . Where would we get alllll those doctors from?

Healthcare for being available for everyone isn't going to matter one bit if people can't afford to pay for it.
