What happens when your phone isn't near you? How do you react?
Yes, I do have nomophobia and I'm not concerned (24.5%)
I have nomophobia but I wish I didn't (21.5%)
Nope, I don't have nomophobia (54.0%)
I'm ok with not having my phone with me. Most of the time I forget it anyways so it doesn't matter much.
I LIKE TO HAVE MY PHONE CHARGED AT ALL TIMES...
I really get nervous when I don't have my phone
I like my phone and access to the internet but if it?s dead, I don?t go crazy or start shaking (much)! 😂
If I'm at home I don't need it next to me at all times. But if I'm out and about, especially with the kids, I feel safer if I have it on me--just in case...
I dont mind not having my phone around me
Nope I am not addicted to my cell phone.
I feel sorta 'naked' without my phone.
Ok, most have us have gotten used to having a cell phone with us almost constantly-to stay in touch with family and friends, entertainment, or emergencies, but I think we can live without a cell phone for a few hours (or days!!) without it causing extreme anxiety. Things we consider "critical" to our way of life today-cell phones, smart technology, social media, did not exist when I was growing up, and I don't feel like I missed out. It is different for young people who have never known life without cell phones and smart technology, but these should enhance one's life, not cause anxiety when they are not glued to your side
The major reason I have nomophobia is because I am also the caretaker for my mother. I worry that something has happened to her and someone is trying to reach me.
