New Year is usually a great time to reassess the past year and to create some goals and plans for the coming year’s events. Everyone seems to have a different approach to the practice of New Year’s resolutions.
What do you and other SheSpeaks members want to achieve or change in 2008? If you’ve had some real success with a past years’ resolutions we’d love to hear your inspiring stories.

To: Heather2009 You are strong...2009 WILL be your best year yet!
My resoultions (in no particular order ; - ) : Don't take life so seriously. Eat more fish. Take more pictures with my husband. Have more sex. Put up photo collage in breakfast nook wall.
...And as for my New Year's resolution...NO more TV,,,the media has scared us and me to death about our economy...Why don't thay just say that "all is not lost","it's okay to buy stuff you need and can afford". Our great country will not collapse. I'm tired of the "awfullizers" and they will no longer have my attention!
i need to start exercising and put my wii fit to good use
My new years resolution is always the same...lose weight.
I resolve to loose weight and exercise.
I set longterm goals and do not set resolutions. I see them like diets. . . . they are only temporary.
I typically make one or two resolutions for the New Year, but like many, life takes over and I don't always acheive them. I was going through a time last year where I was very hopeful for new beginnings (for 2008), I wrote my resolutions down and tracked them the first 90 days. Unfortunately, 2008 ended up being a very difficult year with ill parents and other things (life taking over again) and I sit here approaching 2009 with a different outlook. Rather than setting such high expectations for a New Year and knowing that challenges are ahead, I plan to focus on being the best person I can be, and to handle challenges that come my way the very best I can. Happy New Year!
I plan to make a New Year's Resolution. Top on my list exercise, eat healthy, and last but not at all least further my education.
