Do you consider yourself a tightwad or spendthrift?

We recently read that there are more miserly people out there than spenders.  So, we were curious how this might look for women?  Are we women spenders, as we have the reputation to be or are we careful and cautious with our money?

    I think I spend a lot. I am a good shopper though. I am good at finding things on sale (check out the small shops, their stuff goes on sale faster and have better sale prices). I stayed home with my children until they started school and money was really tight, so I enjoy getting to buy things now that I could'nt then.

    I work hard for my money and I don't have much left after the bills so I hve to make it go as far as I can

    I get a thrill when I get a good bargain. My mom's the same way... must've gotten it from her!

    I seem to be a spendthrift, but i do it wisely. I use coupons, dicount offers, sales, etc.My 13 year old daugther loves to bargin hunt with me. retail therepy and bonding.

    I was taught to hold on to your money until you need it. Ilike to shop for things I need or sometimes I shop for things I want. But I also shop for sales and money savings. jokingly
