Because of the economic downturn, are you doing any of the following?

The recession has had many of us pinching our pennies.   A dollar has to stretch farther than ever before.  With so many watching their budgets, we were curious to hear if you were making any changes to your activities?

    We are staying at home and we are going to our local library to rent movies and instead of ordering pizza we are making homemade instead!

    I am staying more at home because the less I go out the more I save. Plus i can always choose to keep my freinds baby for few hours and earn extra bucks.

    It hasn't changed much..I might not buy as much stuff grocery, clothing, etc..because I want to have $ to enjoy time w/ friends and family. I should probably budget more though.

    I've been trying to make all the stops that I need to make while I'm already out in that area. ..been buying sale items and cooking more at home. Every which way I can save money.

    Go to local parks or zoos and eating at home more often. Money is tight

    I was recently laid off from a Exec. job so my habits have been forced to change. I have noticed less stress in worrying about my job more stress in worrying about life..

    We don't go out to eat nearly as much as we used to...sigh. I have started hitting the thrift stores in town to feed my reading addiction which has been a huge savings for us. I also am on the internet more to find free and inexpensive deals. Cable TV is my last holdout......

    I definatly stay home more. With the economy going up and down, I'm always worried about if I'll have enough money. So many bills to be paying and prices very high on almost everything, that you have to spend you money more catiously now a days.

    With the thought of more recession on the way I don't see anyway to protect ones self unless we all just quit going out to shop, eat or whatevery the occasion might. Frankly I'm scared and being a senior citizen with hearing that social security will quit soon makes me quiver. Even our senior healthcare is threatened and I'm extrememly worried about that too. So I just stay home and mess with my computer.
