Although I didn't vote for President Elect Obama, I believe that God appoints those who lead nations. Whether he is good or bad for our country is yet to be seen but I believe that he has our best interest at heart. I will respect him as our leader and pray for him to do what is best morally, economically, politically and spiritually for our country.

I dont' want to say that he'll fix all of our problems, but the fact that the country is ready finally for a change, makes me optimistic. I have more confidence in the people of the country making big changes in their consumption and spending.

Definitely more optimistic than I was before but he is definitely going to have his hands full and he's not superman. I'm not sure anyone can get us out of all the messes he's going to be left with.

I am sure he will do his best to get us heading in the right direction. I am aware though that he has his work cut out for him so I can't blame him if things don't turn around quickly. I am not expecting a meracle, but very hopefull for one!

I am not sure how I feel. I am willing and going to stand behind and honor pres. elect Obama. But I think there is being to much media. I think he can and will get the job done. But I think the media he making him to be protrade as a celeb. I will be glad when Jan 20 to get here so maby the press can back down some. Yeah like that would ever happen.

I am excited, he is a communicator and he has the ability to stir people to action and give us a direction for our own actions so that we can work toward getting out of the ditch we are in as a county. I can't wa, I expect hard work for all of us, no overnight miracles.

It is hard to NOT be optimistic, we have no other choice, I refuse to live in fear over the "what if's", so I feel we have no choice but to be positive.

I am Optimistic. President Elect Obama has some great characteristics that will help. 1. He is realistic. When he gave his speech on election night, he talked about the steep climb we have ahead. 2. He is a great organizer of people. He seems to really understand how to help people work together. 3. He has kept his promise to choose good people without regard to their party and does not want people who will always agree with him. 4. He already has a plan. 5. He has lived as an average American and didn't forget. It will be hard work, but we can do this with such a leader.
