I am more hopefull since Obama won the election. People just need to remember that change is never easy and we all have a lot of work to do and there will be ups and downs.
I have too many deadlines, too little money, and a house that won't sell - But I will meet the deadlines, because I always do. . . I quit buying clothes, books and pretty much just pay bills - It actually isn't bad at all - kind of freeing. And Holy Cow, Obama was elected president! I don't think it is possible for someone like me who graduated high school in 1970 not to feel excited and ready to go to work! I am so proud of America!
I feel hopeful that change is happening for the better.
I've noticed the stress,...and felt the frustration and uncertainty. To be honest I didn't vote for Obama, however I leave it in God's hands. I'm now excited, hopeful, and above all greatful for the things I do have. I have more now than I did before,..just not as much spending power. I've learned that cutting back you can still get things you want or need, you just have to spend wisely,..a lesson I am greatful I learned now before things could have gotten worse.
After reading the news and watching things on TV, I feel more grateful for the United States and the freedom we have. I am grateful for having a home, food, education, freedom of religion, freedom to travel, freedom of speech, and most of all....freedom to be myself!
If you haven't all the things you want, be grateful for the things you don't have that you wouldn't want.
I feel grateful for what I have, even though its not much, there are many people who would be happy to have what I do.
I work with Special Ed children and their families. I am so very Grateful for this opportunity. I have learned so much from these children and their families over the past 10 years. I have learned that everyone can learn; no matter the circumstances or the depth of the disability. They have taught me that love and patience go a long way in life.
I am grateful for what I have....... With the holidays just around the corner i'm grateful that I have a family to spend it with... Yeah I do charities around this time cause I've got kids and I puit my self in their shoes and think how would I feel... Its that time of the year so if you are feeling kinda down go out and help someone that needs it most around this time it will make you feel better......
I've always been a saver, lived within my means. Now I feel like I'm going to have to pay for others mistakes.
