Sarah Palin is a cheap shot at the voters. It's obvious McCain is thinking of just winning, and not th efuture of this country. With Palin on board, we will lose ALL our rights. It's starting to feel like a communist country with these ignorant republicans on board. I'd rather go with the far more educated OBAMA on board. GO OBAMA!!!!!

I am totally voting for Obama. McCain's choice of Sarah Palin was a cheap ploy. Comparing Palin to Hilary is an insult to Senator Clinton. Palin is NOT Hilary Clinton. Does McCain really think that they felamle voters are so clueless as to the issues of this election that they will vote for him becuase he added a female to his ticket???? He is more out of touch that I had previously thought. Obama/Biden all the way!

Really wish that Hillary Clinton could be president. Still not sure if I will vote for McCain or Obama. I still need more time to think about it. However, just because Sarah Palin is in the picture she doesn't influence my vote.

McCain's choice of Palin as his running mate is a disappointing ploy to get women voters. Too bad he thinks women are ignorant enough to vote for her just because she has a vagina.

Still not sure who I'll vote for. I was originally for Obama, but now that Hillary is out, he seems more negative and more pointing fingers and less about the campaign. Mccain's looking better and better!

All I know is I do not want 4 more years like the last 8.....My family economic status has NEVER been worse...I have BOTH my son and daughter in the military, and I am extremely proud of them, but do I want them in Iraq, NO....I think the whole Palin option was McCains feeble way to try to get the females that supported Clinton to "switch" to them, like the issues don't matter. I personally feel this is an example of how "simple" the Republican party views women!

When I first heard McCain's choice, I wasn't surprised. I was open minded (not knowing who she was) But when she inferred that now women have a candidate to vote for, I thought that Insulting to ALL women. Women and Men for that matter, if they were for Hillary, were voting on the issues, NOT the sex of the canidate. Nothing Palin stands for or her beliefs will draw Hillary voters. After all, Palin herself said she "felt kind of bad that she couldn't support a woman (Hillary)". Why would she think 18,000,000 Hillary voters will support her? How can any one possibly support this woman and call their self a Hilary supporter? Palin is opposed to everything Hillary believes in and works for. I do stand with Palin on one issue, I too am against abortion, BUT, and this is a huge BUT, because I don't believe in it for myself, I also feel I have NO right to make a choice for other women. That in itself is demeaning...women need to continue moving forward...not back 35 years Women all across America are more intelligent then Palin and McCain give them credit for. I thought McCain's possible choice of 9/11Giuliani, was a farce (i'm a NY'er), Palin is a shill for the republican party. We've come a long way baby....we even think for our self.

I fear that Sarah Palin is to Alaska what Jesse "the body" Ventura was to Minnesota. Voters were disenfranchised and fed up with the status quo so they turned to the most unlikely prospect for change. He, too, had experience as a mayor. He, too, shook things up with the good old boys club. He, too, enjoyed great popularity - for a while. He, too, has a unique way of stretching the truth (check out the real story on the bridge to nowhere's cancellation) AND he, too, puts an entertaining spin on things. She wasn't ever a professional wrestler was she??? I know people in Minnesota learned a lesson - was the rest of the nation watching?

Maybe people will realize that Alaska IS a state... and has been. Good point on Ventura jwenz, its similar to California's situation. Anyone who has lived here through a couple winters will tell you that its not easy, and thats what we need. Keep taking the cheap shots saying McCain did it because Hillary got beat, go on, it'll eventually show thats just being hypocritical -- Study a bit before you jump one way or the other. Something everyone will figure out eventually, is that Palin is more independant than book-strict republican, and thats what got her elected here.
