I am always concerned about transfats and try to limit or elminate them whenever possible.
I am always concerned about fat first. Sugar and calories next sodium is not such a big concern or my family. I try to keep my kids having healthy snack and am always looking for a healthy alternative. When purchaseing new products or cwhen making a choice between a few I compare the labels.
I have MS so I really try and eat healthy. But sodium see to be what affects me the most, so that is what I check. I check the contents on all the products that I purchase. People should be aware of what they are putting into their bodies.
I do check labels to see the fat content. If a snack is really high in fat I usually put it back and find something a little better for me..
Check fat content first, trans fat and then calories. Main concern is the unhealthy fat in my daily diet. I then count calories and sugar due to trying to loose weight.
I had gestational diabetes when I was pregnant and had to watch for the carbs on the labels so that is what I find myself doing all the time now and its been almost 2 years since I was pregnant.
I will try to avoid anything with trans fat in it. I also try to eat as much non processed food as possible.
I check the ingredients first! I've eliminated sugar (especially that nasty high fructose corn syrup from my diet) and wheat from my diet. I hate counting calories, so I just eat as healthily as I can, avoiding preservatives and other chemicals the industry loves to put in the food these days.
I disagree. "All women" don't want to know just how many calories are in something. Some people are on different diets that count different things. And, oddly enough, some people aren't on diets at all. There are also many people who have allergies and the first thing they check is if a certain ingredient/additive is in the food.
I look at calories first, then fat, then fiber. Actually all of them are really important to me since i follow Weight Watchers and it has definitely made me more observant.
