We eat as healthy as we can and gets lots of rest.
Both of my parents were smokers (my father quit 25 years before he died, my mother never quit & died of lung cancer) with high cholesterol and high blood pressure. I have never smoked but have high cholesterol controlled with medication. I am very aware of my risk factors and try to medigate them with healthy eating & daily exercise
I am eating right, watching my cholesterol intact, taking more time to do stress free activities.
Exercise daily. Eat well 90% of the time. Stay hydrated.
It's so important to live a healthy lifestyle!
I have been looking into my family history.
Intermittent fasting and lowering my stress level is doing wonders for me -- physically, spiritually and mentally.
I don't eat red meat. I am eating more fruits and vegetables. I monitor my blood pressure...trying to get it under control. It is on the high side. My doctor prescribed a drug for high-blood pressure. It worked for awhile but stopped working...changed prescriptions...hope it helps.
My family does have a history of heart disease. My mother had rheumatic fever in her 40s which damaged her heart.
I try to take care of my self by eating right, exercising and getting enough sleep.
