We rarely eat out. We are on a very limited budget and with having two high school teenagers we are unable to afford eating out. I try to cook meals that are healthy, easy, and fast.
For me it's the norm anyway. But when I'm really tired and can't look at another cooking pan I do go for takeout. But I could do it. Thamnks for the poll and giveaway. Carol Luciano Lucky4750 (at) aol (dot) com
Yes! Eating at home allows our family of 4 to eat for under $350/month (less than the food stamps benefit for our state)! :)
Eating out is so expensive, we just don't do it very often and have to pay close attention to what we order when we do.
I prefer the cook my own meals at home It is healthier for me and my family I can control the ingredients that go into the my meals And I save money

i can't really afford to eat out too much but this challenge sounds great. I am constantly trying to find interesting, simple recipes that are nutritious, tasty and don't require a trip to a special store to purchase ingredients that I will never use again!!
We LOVE to eat out but usually only do it once a week. I cook all the time so it is kind of nice once a week to just go out. I guess I could try, but my kids would probably 'die' considering we cook from scratch and healthy food and when we eat out we are a little less strict.
The last thing I want to do is cook dinner after a long day at work but I would try.
I already do it! I cook for my entire family of seven every day. Tonight we?re having a Pinterest recipes of Mississippi pot roast in the crock pot with mashed potatoes and corn.
