If you're going to be doing back to school shopping, where will it most likely be?

Not everyone will be doing back to school shopping this August and September, but if you're shopping for school supplies for your kids, where will you be going?

A drug store like Walgreens or CVS (14.7%)

The supermarket (3.6%)

A large chain store like Target or Walmart (87.1%)

A wholesale warehouse like Costco or Sam's Club (5.6%)

None of the above (4.4%)

If you're going to be doing back to school shopping, where will it most likely be?

I love Walmart for back to school supplies, the office stores are horribly overpriced.

Walmart has just about everything my kids need for school. Here in Tennessee the first weekend of August is tax free on all clothing & school supplies & some computers, combine that with Walmart & no one else can beat them!

i just think that if u go with walmart or a large store that they have sales and the best prices, also even though there packes if u have a small kid like i am they can squeeze through and get wat they need, and they stock up alot so that they cant run out as easily as other smaller stores.

I agree with most of ya'll if you watch the sales ads you can usually find great deals. You may have to make a few trips but can grab steals for just pennies.

Watch a thing on morning news on how to save money on back to school shopping and the Dollar stores won out. You should check your inventory so you don't duplicate buy and most of the items you can get at staples or the food store you can get at the dollar store for so much less.

I shop at Target when they put the school items on sale. I've done Staples too for the 1 penny sales but the lines are soooo long (55 minutes in line one year) that it is not worth it, my time is worth something to me. Once school starts I haunt Target until they begin to mark items down. I stocked up on composition notebooks one year for $0.15 each! We used them for gifts (decorated of course) and school. I still have some 3 years later! Yes, I purchased tons. LOL

I only have a Walmart, CVS and Ingles to choose from that are close to home. Unfortunately, Walmart gets most of my business. I pick up a few school supplies each week as soon as they put them out and by the time school starts I have most of what we need.
