I feel he was in no way qualified for the position he won. Obama did not 'inherit' anything more than any of the other Presidents of our past inherit when coming into office. Every decade is a circle of economics. He's done nothing thus far but spend more money in 6 months than all the previous Presidents have spent in the last 100 years. Making BIG government is a mistake. He is giving his 'Czars' (who do not have to answer to taxpayers or the house or senate or anyone but him alone) power over everything from our banks, our automotive industry, country security to our health care. Socialized medicine does not work - just look at the mess the other countries with socialized health care have. They all come to the USA for their care. I feel this man is doing nothing but damaging our country. I can only hope he doesn't do anything that can't be "undone" in 2012 when he is booted out of office.

I'm really just tired of people bashing our President. If you don't like him so much, MOVE! No one is keeping you here.

Well, thats true, but if you love socialism so much you could move to Russia. This is supposed to be America, and this country is getting further and further away from what our forefathers fought for. That is why we are complaining,TheMal.

He has not done a thing he set out to do. His health care plan is only going to deprive America of it's liberty! My med insurance is not the best... but at least I can choose who I want, and in most cases, can have procedures within a reasonable timeframe. In Canada, that timeframe is extended 6 months or more!! A friend of my husband is on a waiting list for a hysterectomy due to tumors. A WAITING LIST!! I can sympathize with those who work hard but can not afford insurance - we do, but are lucky to have employers who provide it without using most of our paycheck. HOWEVER, I am totally against paying for healthcare for those who DO NOT and WILL NOT WORK! Additionally, if our healthcare providers would cease all treatments for anyone who is not a LEGAL AMERICAN (or other foreign individuals who do NOT have insurance), we could fix this problem.

Wow...I know people are opinionated but...again...I think we need to respect the president when giving our opinions. Again...I think the downfall of our country is the two very divided parties (dems and reps).

President Obama cares and he's trying to make improvements. That matters.

I think people should stop with this whole republican vs democrat thing. UNITED we stand folks. Middle class really need to get together, we have the most to lose. I can't complain about Obama. His plans have helped a whole lot of people (home loan remodifications, sales tax credit for new car purchase, cash for clunkers). We'll see how the rest of his years play out.

So far the President has done a great job considering what he has had to work with and what he inherited.
