What's your state-of-mind regarding holiday shopping?

The holidays are upon us!  How are you doing with your shopping? Are you done or are you still looking to make some additional purchases? 

Tell us more!  We want to know!

Done...phew! (32.7%)

I'm not done, but I'm right on schedule (30.9%)

I'm not done because I'm expecting better sales at the last minute (17.1%)

I'm not done because I procrastinated! (19.3%)

    I also bought most of my gifts at amazon.com.It is awesome,great prices and they come to your door for free,awesome!

    I started early and thought this year would be good and done early, but the flu made that mission impossible. Now we have no decorations up - DH got it, too, and shopping not finished. I wish I could rewind and have some time back.

    I usually buy clothes for my older nieces and nephew, but this year the clothes selection (and their sales) have been disappointing. I'm almost done - just a few hard to buy for folks left!

    I am not done yet, I'm hoping that their will be some bigger sales soon. Also working midnights can have something to do with it. But it has actually helped waiting I have found some really good deals with my local stores.

    Because I have a "December Baby" I always shop early for Christmas. Don't know if a lot of members use this method but it works for me. I purchase maybe one or two costly items for Christmas and go to discount stores such as Super 10 or Fred's for "Filler" toys. Filler toys that cost from $3 - $20/item and put them on hold or layaway late October/early November. The "Filler" toys are just that. They fill up the area around the tree and are inexpensive. So if they don't survive Christmas day or the following week, I'm not too upset. All of my family, friends, neighbors and kids' friends say they have the best Christmases. It's the filler toys!

    I just finished my last few gifts yesterday. I am glad it is done. I only have a couple things to wrap yet.

    I would Shop, Shop,Shop until I dropped...... I still do, but I prefer the last minute shopping with all the great deals, especially at the outlets. I especially like all the savings after christmas. I did much shopping on Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving day. I got some realy Great Deals.....................
