I like Sarah Palin. I think she would be a strong VP. It came as a surprise but I like her. I would never vote for Obama or any Clinton. Anybody that doesn't know he is a socialist has their head stuck in the sand. Besides, who wants someone who has served as a senator 143 days and never voted anyway but present on any issues as our President. Just look at who he associates with. I'm sorry he may be able to talk the talk but I don't think he can walk the walk! It literally scares me that he may become our President!

I think that McCain choosing Palin was a slap in the face to all women out there. Did he really think that choosing a young woman as his running mate would convince the Hillary supporters to vote him into office?? That proves that he really is out of touch with the american people. I have been an Obama supporter from the very beginning and his choice as a running mate is much wiser and realistic.

I wasn't going to vote for him anyway because I have heard nothing but repeats of past election promises. There is no change in anything McCain is offering. He has outright lied about Obama's campaign and he really screwed up when he put Palin on the ticket with him. Biden could run country, Palin would just screw it up. I've been open-minded throughout the campaigning. I have tried to stay nuetral this early on, but listening intently to both candidates, we can't afford McCain/Palin in the white house. We NEED Obama/Biden.

Since when is religion or race important in running our country? I thought religion had no place in politics? Really people you gotta make up your minds.

I am voting the for BEST candidate to change this country before we lost it...period.

    Obama/Biden

I think McCain choosing Palin is a GREAT choice, and not because she is women, but because she is a true American dealing with what true American families deal with on a daily basis. I believe she did a great job as Gov. in Alaska, and feel as if she will be an INCREDIBLE Vice Pres. :)

    McCain-Palin 2008 :)

The biggest thing that scares me about Palin is McCain's age... if he does shuffle off the mortal coil during his presidency, we would have Palin as our leader???!!! The absolute horror, a person with a 2 year old passport, a hatred for sex education, the environment, women's rights, gay rights, free speech and her native Alaskan people. She seems qualified for the position. P.S. I thought one of McCain's biggest issue (smear) with Obama was his supposed inexperience. People should see the Palin pick for what it is, a transparent attempt to not only match Obama's history-making nomination but to also snap up the Hilary supporters who were strictly in it for the estrogen. P.S. as a woman, I do not understand how another woman could vote for a person who will take away her right to choose, who won't support sex education for her children and specifically with Palin, a person who would force rape victims to pay for their own evidence kit.

I'm a Dem all the way. It would take a lot for a Republican candidate to sway me over to the other side. Any reservations I had about Obama were put to rest when he brought Joe Biden on board. While I admire Sara Palin for being a strong woman and balancing politics and family, her political views and closed mindedness have turned me off to any option of voting Republican. I wanted to like her...I really did, but her speech at the RNC, where I will admit she was a good speaker and quite funny at times, made it very difficult for me to maintain a good opinion of her. While Obama's speech was uplifting and hopeful, her's was sarcastic, snarky, and full of mudslinging. After her speech I was left not knowing anything about her policies and her vision, but only of her distain for the Dems.

I have listen to both side's of this race, and to tell you the truth. i have not a clue who to vote for. i dont think that either one should be our president of the United States of American. Obama scare's the crab out of me, I REALLY DON'T KNOW IF WE CAN TRUST THAT MAN,and as far as McCain IT'S THE SAME CRAP FOR A NOTHER 4 YEARS..so i guess we will find as soon enough....

I like the fact that we are seeing more and more women in political roles. It is time that a woman was Pres or VP, but just because she is a women does not overshadow her lack of experience.
