I like her a lot. I like that she has executive experience. She adds a lot to the McCain ticket and doesn't seem the typical politician-type.

Keep watching and listening. Palin has already displayed the same political tactics of telling half truths. If you listen to every single one of her stump speeches, she clearly repeats everything she said in her acceptance speech. The lady is scripted and her job is to help everyone overlook the issues and become patriots in support of her simply because she is a woman.

This maybe the worst pick I ever seen. I am an woman who is an Iraq war veteran. This nomination is a slap in the face to women who have been working in politics for so long. I have watched ever interview she has given so far (which has been hard, because there are so few to view). She little experience in foreign policy, she has lead her town in debt as Mayor (by the millions) and she has continuously lied to the American people. The leaders and commanders of our country should live by the same rules that we live by in the military LOYALTY , DUTY, RESPECT, SELFLESS SERVICE, HONOR, INTEGRITY, and PERSONAL COURAGE. Ms. Palin lives her life with few of these values. Each time she lies to the people she lets down the code.

i totally agree it is your body your choice..... so if you choose to "legally" kill your baby then go for it... but you will suffer the consequences for your actions just like anything else. i have friends and family who have all " legall"y killed their babies because it is their choice to do it. but i will also tell you that even though some of them had abortions 25 years ago some evn 40 years ago ... they still thin kabout it to this day.... they still have regrets even that many years later. ans some even thought of suicide because they were so tormented by what they did. ask any of them if they would do it again. ad they will all tell you NO WAY! yes it is your body and u do have a choice..... but dont be ba mad when something goes wrong.

McPain is up to nothing but a game of politricks. And now we have two games going on. Women will vote for the woman blindly and have not a care about anything except she's a woman and then Obama... well. Anyhow. I'm all for Obama. He gets my vote, not because he's a black man (who actually isn't black, he's biracial), but because he has outstanding views and hopes and dreams for America.

McPain is so off the wall I can't keep up with him. One day he's this and the next he's that. He needs to get with the program. Palin is snobby and has that better than thou who cares if she's a hockey mom with a pregnant teenager at home attitude.

But like it's been said, we don't have the say, it's the politicians who choose this president.

Well, if abortion wasn't legal, they'd probably have gotten one anyway, and would possibly now be dead from a back alley abortion.

At least they are alive to be affected by their choices and learn from them.

McCain is in his 70's. If he were to pass on, the country would be in so much trouble with Palin in charge. THIS IS THE FATE OF OUR COUNTRY. We cannot leave it up to this. She will steer us into the unknown, and back a couple decades.

OBAMA '08! For the sake of humanity...

When it comes down to it, it's all about who has the EXPERIENCE to run the country. A company wouldn't hire a CEO who has never run another company, or who has had no experience in dealing with the departments he will be governing, such as the military. So why should the US People elect a president who has never served in the US Military, but expect him to be the Commander in Chief. Or elect someone who has never governed even a small town. Obama is a JUNIOR senator. With little or no experience in the areas that mean the most to the survival of our country.

And has everyone forgotten that the economy started spiraling downward 2 years ago? The same time the Democrats took control of Congress. Our democracy works because of the two party system. When those two parties refuse to work together, we get in trouble.
