My New Year's Resolution was to learn to be more 'frugal'. I love to shop, but am watching the sales and learning to wait. Last year I began to drink only diet soft drinks, and I have NOT had a 'regular' soft drink for a year! Kudos to me:) Excercise and dieting..I make this a weekly issue where I can attain my goal versus beating myself over it. Happy New Year to all of you.
I don't make new years resolutions. I set small goals for myself all year.
I have a mini-list of resolutions that I work from year-to-year. Many are the typical ones: get organized, work out more, spend more quality time with family, stick to a budget...blah, blah, blah. But there are always 1 or 2 fresh, new ideas I add each year for myself that are more reflective of where my life is headed for that given year. those are the ones I have the most fun with and try to embrace more enthusiastically!
I too like to set goals for myslef through the year instead of one large and sometimes untouchable committment. Start small and become stronger as you go :)
There are things I would like to do this year, but I'm not going to make a resolution to do so, because then I'd never get it done, and be really disappointed if I don't.
I make resolutions that I am sure I can keep at lest for a while. I guess that is cheating. If I made one like losing weight I know that I would break it so why make it? My life is hard enough without making it harder on myself.
I didn't make a resolution this year. I prefer to reevaluate more often than once a year, but it's always nice to get the New Year off to a good start! : )
i don't make things i know i can't keep. why beat yourself up over it??
I only make resolutions I know I can keep. It's ridiculous to promise something you know you can't or won't keep.
My resolutions are things I really want to do. I don't do the wild and outlandish ones anymore. But I have joined a gym and have been there 3 days in a row, so far, so good.
