My kitchen is small and when I'm preparing a meal and all the kids are sitting around the table, dogs are running around it's unbearable.

I would like to have more counter space but then again that extra space might be cluttered too.

I absolutely hate items on my counter top but they do not bother my husband... at all. We constantly have a battle of moving the appliances. I'm slowly winning but our kitchen is small and it's sooo hard to keep things organized and tidy.

I have to say I feel better after reading these comments. Apparently everyone has the same problem - the counters are a spot to drop mail, cell phones, bills, etc.

My elderly mother and I are roommates, and 'she' just can't throw anything away. So, clutter lurks everywhere. Yikes! I'm sure we own multiples of everything, because we can never find what we need. And yes, I am embarrassed to have anyone over since there is so much stuff.

I have a big kitchen with plenty of room, but it just turns out to be the convenient place to put everything that doesn't have a place else where in the house!
