Do you prefer shopping online (vs. in stores) for the holidays? If so, what is the biggest reason?

For those of us who prefer to shop online for the holidays, there are many benefits.  You can shop at many online "stores" without fighting the crowds or driving all over town.  There is a lot of selection online, and the deals can be very good. 

What is the main reason you prefer shopping online?  Are there some holiday items you still prefer to buy online?  Let us know!

Yes, I like to avoid the crowds (20.4%)

Yes, I think there is more selection online (9.1%)

    I think stores have to get rid of there inventory at a point in time and will mark merchendise down faster than online. I find really good deals in stores.

    I like shopping on-line because I can do it at any time of the day or night. No need to get dressed and fight the traffic.

    I shop online because I am seriously claustrophobic and tend to have panic attacks when in large crowds. Around my neck of the woods the stores and malls are packed to brimming with people from Black Friday until Dec. 26th. I have always cut my shopping trips short during that time because I start to panic.

    Without a doubt, I prefer shopping online because I can get better prices. Of course I'll buy a thing or 2 in stores, but I'd say 99% of my holiday shopping is done online. I did learn a lesson after a shipping snafu last year with UPS, if it's important, ORDER EARLY, like beginning of December (at the latest!)

    and there are so many online e-coupons available, if you stack those with free shipping deals, it can't be beat.

    I prefer in store holiday shopping . I like the challenge, the rush, the crowds, and lights.

    I like to shop online in my pajamas early in the morning and enjoy a cup of coffee!

    I dont like shopping online i dont trust the things i see online i better see im infront of me...

    i hate shopping in the stores, people get so mean around the holidays

    I enjoy the decorations and the music that is usually playing while shopping, and people seem so much happier and nicer during the holidays
