When it comes to new technologies (iPod, Facebook, etc.) who do you influence to try the new technology?

Technology is not just the domain of men anymore.  Women outnumber men on Facebook (where 56% of members are women) and also on Twitter (53% women).   As women become more influential in the world of technology, who are you inspiring to try the latest gadget or website?

    New technology has kept me in touch with friends from far and wide. I have told many other people about some ways to reconnect with old friends and family!

    I got on Facebook when I was in college and it was for college students only. It was nicer then, now my parents are on it and I have to be careful what I say! :)

    i love new technology! i love to share it with my girlfriends so we can all gossip about it!

    I am always wanted everything new that comes out just to try and if i like it then i feel its ready to go to my husband, and if i really like it i get him one and keep mine. Anything for technology, everyone looks to me.

    Because my husband and I have been in the high tech industry for years, we usually see or hear about things early on. However, my husband is an early adopter and I am not. We usually influence our friends and sometimes our kids.

    I like new technology but it really needs to be easy to use and not take too long for setups etc. When I find something I like I do refer it to my friends and those on Facebook but my husband is really hard to engage in new gadgetry. For instance, he knows there's a Facebook but doesn't want an account.

    I'd like to be able to keep up with the latest technology but it's so expensive to buy all the new fancy gadgets.

    My husband will not touch a computer. If he needs to find out anything online I have to do everything for him. He just sits and watches. That goes with most all the other technology.
