If you purchased a Father's Day gift, how much did you spend?

According to a new report, Dads don't seem to get as much love on Father's Day as Moms do on Mother's Day.  We are spending more than 20% less on Dad than we do on Mom!

So, we were curious, did you buy a Father's Day gift this year?  If so, how much did you spend?  Please tell us what you think.  We want to know!

$200 or more (7.3%)

$100-$199 (12.5%)

$50-$99 (22.4%)

$25-$49 (22.5%)

up to $25 (35.5%)

Even though I scaled back a bit this year I managed to give my dad a gift he really liked--an electric toothbrush. I enjoyed getting him something useful that will help him keep his teeth and gums healthy! He has no false teeth and I want to help him keep it that way.

My dad doesn't really like presents... but I got him a gift card and a new shirt anyway! And of course a nice card.

i made my dad dinner so im guessing the food had to have been less than $25 and i made him a ceramic plate. I'm glad he enjoyed the dinner because my brother and i worked hard on it. It was the first time i was making these dishes and it was pretty fun cooking new things.

I don't usually plan a price limit on my husbands gifts. It depends on what he needs or wants at the time. This year I saw an attatchment to go on his tractor that makes the accessories hook up easier. He has a herniated disk in his back and has trouble hooking these up. We did not know they even made this thing, scared to spend $250 on it, but I did and it works great. Money seems like a small price now for the pain it has saved him.

I took my dad to lunch and then we drove to lake Erie. He likes to fish, so i gave him some bait. He also collects hats so i bought him a hat.
