According to a new report, Dads don't seem to get as much love on Father's Day as Moms do on Mother's Day. We are spending more than 20% less on Dad than we do on Mom!
So, we were curious, did you buy a Father's Day gift this year? If so, how much did you spend? Please tell us what you think. We want to know!
$200 or more (7.3%)
$100-$199 (12.5%)
$50-$99 (22.4%)
$25-$49 (22.5%)
up to $25 (35.5%)
As for my husband he's the best dad ever for our children works so hard so we got him a hammock and now if he to tired to play in the pool with the kid at least he can relax and be part of it.
Even though I scaled back a bit this year I managed to give my dad a gift he really liked--an electric toothbrush. I enjoyed getting him something useful that will help him keep his teeth and gums healthy! He has no false teeth and I want to help him keep it that way.
My dad doesn't really like presents... but I got him a gift card and a new shirt anyway! And of course a nice card.
I got dad a shirt and its fits the budget ... :)
i made my dad dinner so im guessing the food had to have been less than $25 and i made him a ceramic plate. I'm glad he enjoyed the dinner because my brother and i worked hard on it. It was the first time i was making these dishes and it was pretty fun cooking new things.
my dad and my hubby are worth a lot to me
I don't usually plan a price limit on my husbands gifts. It depends on what he needs or wants at the time. This year I saw an attatchment to go on his tractor that makes the accessories hook up easier. He has a herniated disk in his back and has trouble hooking these up. We did not know they even made this thing, scared to spend $250 on it, but I did and it works great. Money seems like a small price now for the pain it has saved him.
I took my dad to lunch and then we drove to lake Erie. He likes to fish, so i gave him some bait. He also collects hats so i bought him a hat.
We did 20$ Lowes gift cards this year. Not much, but they both have EVERYTHING......really. Also found these really cute cards that said....Thanks for fixing everything that's broke, including me.
My husband has been eyeballing lego's since my 8 month old was born......So I decided to buy my husband some lego's. He loved it!
