These are stressful times. There seems to always be a new solution for how we should deal with stress. We were curious how you deal with stressful and difficult times?

I agree with a previous poster. Having alone time in a relaxing place helps me. I usually have have a book in hand to help clear my mind.
I tend to chat with family or friends.
I tend to grab some chocolate - then re-arrange the furniture....
My girlfriend is always there for me. I can call her up and she'll unconditionally offers her listening ear, support and guiding ways. I always make sure to be available to her when she needs me.
I agree with the person who said they clean when they get stressed. I do this too--really helps me clear my mind (and it feels like starting with a clean slate when my living space is tidy).
Well, i take a book and try and read a chapter. This keeps me balance and down to earth. Or try and call a friend and just talk with her. If that doesn't work I take a drive, then I come home.
I talk it out first and if that doesn't work exercising will take the stress away.
I exercise to get rid of stress. It forces me to concentrate on something else and it feels good when I am done!
Unfortunately, I run for food first, then on to the phone.....
When I talk to family or friends about my problems, I realize that I am not alone any many others are worse off than me, so I need to be thankful for what and who I have in life.
