I think he is a good man. It will be awhile before we sse any REAL changes. It didn't get like this overnight it took 8 years, so don't expect anything immediately

He was not my choice for president, but I still don't think that he can do all that he wants. He makes to many promises and who can deliever all that he wants to make happen?? He wants to give out to much money to people which in turn will make this country's debt goes go higher, which will lead to more problems in the furture, money that our grandkids will have to do without, I feel that he trys to sugar coat things, and the fact that he wants to give way half of Isreal's land is wrong and scary!

I have never been more optimistic about a president. This is exciting. He's not even in office yet and already he's on the job. We need to give him a chance. He's not going to be able to turn things around quickly. We didn't get in this tremendous mess we are in overnight and it can't be undone overnight.

I think if he was so big on change he should not have appointed all the crooks that have been at capital hill for years. Most of which worked for Clinton. Change???? come on.....

I've got lots of hope, but he's got lots of problems to fix. Hopeful, but fingers crossed.

I think that things are so bad that optimism is a must. I'm concered about how much he can change things when he is appointing so many people who have been in politics for so long. It doesn't look like change to me. But, again I am hopeful, I can't afford not to be.

I think it will take more than one term to change the economy. I also don't think that the power to change - is in the hands of the president - I feel the issues far exceed the reach of one person. I also believe we have not hit bottom in our economic crisis. I am not concerned with being optimistic at this time ... I am living in the present moment and being realistic about it.

I'm trying to be optimistic, but it's hard ---everyone puts so many expectations on these men who run for president, and when they don't live up to them, they shoot them down. It doesn't matter what man has been in the White House, pretty much all of them has been crucified as they left office. Republican or Democrat - each does what he can, and hopes for the best. It's a thankless job --and one I'd never wish on anyone!
