I don't think we have a great choice with any of the candidates. What I think is saddening is there will be a lot of votes cast purely on race and gender. Blacks want black and women want women. Experience is what counts and Obama has none, however he is a great speaker and has the ability to stir a crowd. I'm with McCain, but still researching his choice of VP.

I would have been more pleased to see Hillary as VP...Palin's view's on abortion are upsetting...i still firmly believe it should be a women's choice!!!

I've got to suggest www.FactCheck.com it is a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in US politics. Check back often...it changes with updates on BOTH candidates.

To be INFORMED (please don't believe the ads!) is to be empowered, ladies!

I was one of Hillary's supporters who was left wondering what now. The minute I heard McCain chose Palin, i knew who my vote was for.

Especially, since he openly admits he took her on to gain some of Hillary's voters. That, to me, shows a lack of respect for many women, to assume just because she is a woman she automatically gets our vote. I like Hillary because of what she said, not because of what she was. I don't agree with many of Palin's beliefs, which is why i am not voting for McCain/Palin.

I also encourage woman thinking of voting for Palin just based on her being a woman, look into the facts and chose based on who you agree with. A woman who doesn't have the same views and beliefs as you is not going to fight for you.

I am not a fan of any woman VP, because I really believe women are too emotional to be the President of our wonderful country. However, I admire Palin's morals & values (her daughter's choices/mistakes are not hers).

I respect a woman or man who stands up for what is right/moral & what our country was founded on.

I truly believe that Obama is just another Pres. Clinton - suave, nice to look at, yet lacks morals & values. Our country and families can't afford that again!

McCain & Palin get my vote! I could never vote for a man or women (Obama or Hillary) who supports live-birth aborations or any kind of abortion. Also, any man that is friends with Jeramiah White and a man who calls our milatery "chickens coming home to roost" doesn't get my vote, or the vote of anyone I know.

Obama has very little experence doing anything (not even four months as a senitor), McCain has over 20 years and has been a POW! You need more then four month experence to be the manager at a Walmart, let alone our country!

Palin is a mother of five and didn't buckle when people told her she should abort her baby that was going to be born with a disability. Good for her! She's wonderful, any of you who don't know about her should do some research. She's done some amazing things, including taking down some bad guys! ;)

Someone also mentioned that McCain picked Palin because she's a women, but Obama picked Bidin because he has some experence where Obama has none! What's the difference??? Obama just wants a vote from you, even though he wan't to raise taxs and he found a man to help him do it. At least McCain is honest!

The media is attacking Palin from every angle and she has been gracful and un-apoligtic the whole time.

This duo is going to do some amazing things togther!
