Mother's Day is almost here. Did you know that Mother's Day was conceived after the Civil War and initially intended as a call to unite women against war? Mother's Day in the US has transformed into a day to give thanks to our mothers.
Which of the following gifts would you want to receive most this Mother's Day?
A day spent with your family/children (41.5%)
A day at the spa (40.5%)
Flowers (4.9%)
Chocolate (2.9%)
Jewelry (10.2%)
i'm w/ my kids every day too.
i want to be taken out to dinner (that should have been an option)
eating OUT w/ my family
but have the day to do NOTHING but take a nap, sit on my comptuer and
whatever else i feel like--FOR ME!
and
some good chocolate wouldn't hurt either.
Spa please! I spend all day with the kids. All night. Every weekend. Every weekday. Can I have some "Me" time please?
SPA SPA SPA..
I would like to spend the day with my mom and my daughter. Also, I don't want to have to change any diapers so my husband and dad can come along too. Also, I like having my brother and sister in-law around too. Brunch is perfect, going out. I get lots of time away when I need it. This day, I like to be honored by my family!
I miss my 2 Sons and Stepsons as they live in other states, and it would be wonderful to spend time with all of them together.
A girl can never have too much jewelry. I'm in for a couple of carats! And a box of chocolates.
TIME WITH FAMILY IS MOST IMPORTANT. THAT IS TIME YOU CAN NEVER REPLACE. MY FAMILY IS CLOSE. MATERIAL THINGS ARE NOT IMPORTANT. IF MY FAMILY ONLY SHOWED UP ON SPECIAL DAYS I WOULD REJECT THEM BECAUSE EVERYDAY IS SPECIAL TO ME. SOME THE BEST THEY CAN DO IS CALL, OTHERS CAN BUY A GIFT. THE THOUGHT AND THE LOVE IS WHAT MATTERS.
GOD BLESS,
ENJOY EVERYDAY.
They grow so fast, that I want to spend all the time I can with them. I will take dinner and the day with them. I have young ones and grandchildren. Church and dinner and just the time together is all I ask because their time is precious with their families too.
I spend everyday with my child, so that's a given! Though flowers and spa days are nice, they don't last. I'd most like jewelry. Just something small that I'll have for years and years -- whenever I look at it I'll think back to the age my son was when I received it.
This may sound selfish, but for me, bring on the bling!!
