Do you consider yourself a tightwad or spendthrift?

We recently read that there are more miserly people out there than spenders.  So, we were curious how this might look for women?  Are we women spenders, as we have the reputation to be or are we careful and cautious with our money?

Tell us?  Are you a spender or "super saver"?

Tightwad|I hold on to my money as tightly as possible (39.8%)

Spendthrift|I love to spend! (60.2%)

I still spend more than I should but within my budgets and means. I am better now than I was before!! Self control and the benefits of having a growing income helps pay off those bills!!

I like spending when its something on clearance! But even then, it always adds up! My husband tells me I buy stuff just because its on sale...its not completely true though!

I buy things when they are needed. I always look on the clearance rack first! Then I branch out; shop online look for sales, compare prices, try to get the most for my money.
