In the pass I did send out Christmas cards, Too some family members and some too my cloest friends. But Now the pass 2 or 3 yrs Iv'e stopped. I know It's Sad. And I feel bad. I tell myself I gotta send out cards this year. But Then I forget, Im much more busier then I was a few years ago. Plus as We get older these Holidays fly by so dam Fast. : (
Because Im getting Married in January I decided to use a website known as Vistaprint to get holiday cards. I created actual Holiday Cards with our Engagement Photo on it. It was actually pretty exciting and Im looking forward to the responses I get from them. I only did 20 this year, for the family and close friends....but I really like personalzing them and Im sure they will all love it too!
I, too, have scaled down considerably to help with costs. I used to mail, but now I hand deliver!
I try to every year, but most of the time does not work out......most of the time i will just get them to very close friends and family. I am deff gonna try to get them all out this year....... cross your fingers!
We use recycled products to make cards all year. We do not send them at Christmas time, but for all holidays or "just because". Everyone expects a Christmas Card, but not necessarily a St. Patty Day or 4th of July :0)
Sometimes, we make our cards.
I tape mine to a wall then take them down by the end of the year.
We send cards with pictures of us and the kids to our family. We usually wind up sending out about 15-20 cards total each year.
I haven't been able to do cards the last couple of years. I just can't afford it. I would love to have the family picture post card type to send to everyone.
I'm a photographer so I LOVE taking pictures of Christmas-y things and making my own cards to send out. Occasionally though I will find the most adorable hand made cards at a local shop and just have to buy them. But I absolutely love sending out cards to friends since I can't afford to get everyone a gift.
