    I have a few favorite authors but I also read what the book is about and if it looks interesting, I read it to see if it keeps my interest enough to read it to the end.

    I like when my family or friends suggest books to me, because that why they can tell me about the book. Or I wll go to book story and read a few pages before buying it....

    Another thing I like to do when selecting books is read the very first paragraph in the first chapter. If what I read hooks me, then I know for a fact that I will enjoy the book!

    I usually browse books and start to read several pages in, if it catches my attention then it is a must read. I don't have a particular author, style or subject I prefer. It just has to keep me interested.

    I have a handful of favorite Chick Lit authors, but recently have ventured into Best Sellers. I judge a book by its cover. If it looks girlie and fun, I am bound to like it!

    I have a particular interest in the books that i read luckily i have several friends with the same interest and we bounce books off each other if one of us reads something we really enjoy we will pass it around until we have all read it and can discuss it over lunch at our favorite restaurants
