Do you prefer shopping in stores (vs. online) for the holidays? If so, what is the biggest reason?

There is a lot of excitement in stores during the holidays, and it's fun to get caught up in the holiday spirit.  There are always good deals to find, and you can see exactly what you're getting before you buy it.  What do you love about shopping in stores during the holidays?

Yes, I like the excitement of holiday shopping in stores (24.2%)

Yes, because I don't like to pay shipping costs online (12.2%)

Yes, I find better deals in stores (11.3%)

Yes, I like to see products in-person before I buy them (29.5%)

    I do both because I consider myself a very budget minded shopper. I have found wonderful deals on line at the holiday; but there is also something about the music and holiday spirit that you find that time of year in the stores and malls.

    i prefer to shop in stores mainly because it is time that i can spend with my family over the holidays

    I would rather shop on line than go to the mall anyday and I rarely have to pay for shipping. That is not an issue

    I like to see exactly what I am buying . I also like the atmosphere of the holiday.

    i really hate dealing with crowds...i do 90% of my shopping online for the holidays

    I prefer shopping in stores where i can see the merchandise. However, do to an injury and not being able to drive for a few months, i did almost all of my Christmas shopping online in 2008.

    I like making purchases in stores but sometimes you do find better deals online

    I have a toddler and a newborn and unless I get a babysitter, there's no way I'm going Christmas shopping in a store!
