Do you prefer shopping online (vs. in stores) for the holidays? If so, what is the biggest reason?

For those of us who prefer to shop online for the holidays, there are many benefits.  You can shop at many online "stores" without fighting the crowds or driving all over town.  There is a lot of selection online, and the deals can be very good. 

What is the main reason you prefer shopping online?  Are there some holiday items you still prefer to buy online?  Let us know!

Yes, I like to avoid the crowds (20.4%)

    I love shopping at the store because it is easier to make sure it fits and looks good & more festive than online.

    The rush around the stores during the holidays may be hectic, but look around at the cheerful decorations and you never know what you will find and when something will go on sale. I am a spuratic shopper, and dont always buy whats only on my list. On line you cant spuratically shop like you can in the stores;)

    I personally choose to shop online because I find that there is more to choose from. It is easier to shop multiple websites rather than shop multiple stores and drive all over the place. Additionally, when I shop in the stores, they never seem to have the color or size that I am looking for. Online stores almost always have it.

    I have done all of my holiday shopping online the past 3 years and it has been great! This year I have a baby, so I may be going in the store to see what they have. But other than that, I find it less stressful to do online shopping!

    I love shopping online for Christmas items. The selection is great, you don't have to fight the crowds, and no worries about prying eyes seeing anything they aren't supposed to!

    It depends on what i am buying...some things are easy to buy online while some are difficult to decide,esp if i am buying clothes etc..then i like to see the actual color ,material which can't be felt online...yes i am picky:) after all the gifts are for my loved ones.

    Online shopping is great! No crowds, no problem parking, no pressure to choose a certain advertised product. The selection is better and the prices are as good as or even better than in the store. I can shop whenever it is most convenient and access product reviews and ratings as I shop. None of this can be done in person in a mall or store. The only caveat is certain clothing items - those I can see in person in the store and then buy later after I know the quality and sizeing If the price is right). Other than that, in person shopping is so old fashioned!

    I'm an avid online shopper. I find you can find really good deals if you just take the time every now and then to just browse at a few of your favorite sites from time to time!
