Have you ever purchased a beauty product "as seen on TV?"

Recently we’ve noticed a lot of product reviews on SheSpeaks inspired by beauty products advertised on television. Some of these "as seen on TV" products include "Strap Perfect," the bra strap eliminator, "Bumpits," the hair accessory that gives volume to the crown of the head, and "Smooth Away," the all-over hair remover.

We are curious to know what you think of products advertised on TV in the form of an infomercial. Are they too hard of a sell? Or, do the product demonstrations persuade you to buy? We’d love to hear about the items you’ve bought and if you’ve been satisfied with your purchase!

    I have purchased a couple of ASOTV items and have been pleased. I think the key is to really think about how the product will work for you before buying the item.

    I bought the ped egg and that is the coolest thing ever. My feet feel so nice after using it. I started using it on my boy friends too and their not coarse anymore. He actually uses it more than I do now. In all it's a great product.

    I ordered an acne product from tv. It is a well known product that my doctor (as well as many celebrities) also endorsed. I loved the product but there was an error in the automatic delivery and I got stuck with an extra bill! I had to cancel the product. Beware of automatic delivery!

    I research consumer reviews before buying. Usually, I'll then go to a "As Seen on TV" store to check out the product before purchasing.

    I bought the Ped Egg and I love it. It works so well. My feet are so soft.

    I have bought a few products and have found that m,ost of the time they are not worth the wait or the money

    I used the Smooth Away and it worked well but shaving seems to keep my legs smooth longer. I've also got the Strap Perfect and that is awsome.
