Do you color or highlight your hair?

Spring is well underway and it seems like so many of us like to "brighten" our look after the long and dark winter! So, we were curious, just how many of us actually highlight our hair?

Whether you do it to cover grey, brighten up your own color or to completely change color, we were curious, do you color or highlight your hair? Why?

Yes- I usually do it myself with home hair color products (50.5%)

Yes- I usually go to a salon for a stylist to do (28.5%)

No- I do not color or highlight my hair (11.6%)

Not yet, but I'm thinking about it (9.3%)

    I color my hair all the time...It is natural Dark Dark Brown but with early greying so I dye it Burgendy...Hubby like it..lol

    I color my own hair, I have dirty dishwater blonde and I always buy two hair colors one light and one dark that way if I mess up and can cover up. lol. I like it dark auburn in the winter and light auburn in the summer and I buy the natural lemon hightlights and spray it on for the natural look.

    I love my long black hair, but i often think of color when i see some one with the perfect shade that suits them. i want a natural look.

    I am a licensed Cosmetologist but I do not work as one. I use professional products and do it myself. I guess you could say that I am my own hair dresser. I color only the gray hair to my natural color with a semi permanent hair color. I like my results.

    I do my own hair. I have a method of applying it that makes it look like a salon highlight/weave job that even stylists think I have it done professionally.

    I am using the wash out dye. I used permanent dyes several years ago and I guess I over processed it and my hair just kept breaking, so until I really need it to cover grey I use semi-permanent

    I go to a salon to have my hair colored but that's because my mom owns the shop.
